ShipName.net publishes a focused ship-name tool and articles for people who need couple names, fandom pairing names, wedding hashtags, and related blended-name ideas.

Our goal is to make each page useful on its own, not only to provide a form or a list of keywords. We review pages for clarity, examples, and practical guidance before publishing them.

How We Create Content

• We write original explanations, examples, and naming guidance for ShipName.net.
• We compare generator output with rule-based blends and document the checks on our methodology page.
• We avoid publishing empty, placeholder, or under-construction pages.
• We update articles when a naming convention, feature, or policy detail changes.
• We clearly distinguish creative suggestions from official, legal, or professional naming advice.
• We identify the engine version behind generated examples and publish material change notes.

Organizational Byline and Tools

Ship Name Lab Research Desk is an organizational byline, not a fictional personal identity. It owns the benchmark, methodology, source review, corrections, and field-note maintenance.

Software may assist with research organization, drafting, testing, and editing. Generated prose or generated names are not treated as evidence. Published factual claims must be traceable to cited material or original documented tests, and language or community judgments outside the engine's competence must be labeled.

Generator Results

Generator results are creative suggestions produced by a versioned, deterministic blending and scoring engine. We publish the current rules, weights, warnings, and limitations on our methodology page.

Generated names are intended for brainstorming. Before using a name for a public brand, commercial project, book title, product, or account, you should check whether it is already in use and whether it may conflict with another person's rights.

Accuracy and Corrections

We try to keep our pages accurate, readable, and useful. If you find a broken link, outdated explanation, unclear example, or content that should be corrected, contact us at [email protected].

Advertising and Affiliate Content

ShipName.net does not currently display advertising, use affiliate links, or publish sponsored content. If any of these are introduced later, commercial relationships will not control editorial decisions, benchmark results, examples, or recommendations.

Our disclosure rules are:

• An affiliate relationship must be disclosed in plain language immediately before the first affiliate link on every affected page. A footer-only or site-wide disclosure is not sufficient.
• Sponsored content must be labeled Sponsored near the title and must identify the sponsoring organization. Payment does not guarantee a favorable conclusion or inclusion in our benchmark.
• Paid links will use the appropriate link attributes, including rel="sponsored". Products or services will not be ranked more highly because they pay a commission.
• We will describe why a commercial recommendation helps with a specific naming, domain, stationery, or publication task. Unrelated offers will not be added.
• Editorial staff will retain final control of claims, examples, corrections, and updates. Sponsors will not receive unpublished user inputs or private analytics.
• Any material gift, free access, commission, or other relationship that could affect reader judgment will be disclosed on the relevant page.
• A page that cannot make its commercial relationship clear without interrupting the user's task will not carry that relationship.

Advertising, if introduced, will be visually separated from editorial content and will not appear inside the generator form, candidate controls, or results.
